 “THE WANTED EMCEES” originated in St. Louis, Missouri in 1987. Three best friends formed what they perceived as the “new” sound of Hip Hop/Rock. Little did these New Pioneers of Old School Hip Hop realize that their music would reach so many people. By combining different styles from East and West Coast Rap Stars, while mixing backgrounds from Pop, Rock, and R&B, THE WANTED EMCEES created a sound that was very unique and different for the times. Some would even say ahead of the times for its day. THE WANTED EMCEES would perform for whoever would listen and entered every contest they could find. This persistence earned them the 1990 Title of Missouri State Rap Champions. They held this Title for two years through many competitions and battles. THE WANTED EMCEES had a successful release of “KrackerJack” on their own label, CMT Records. The song received some marginal radio play in and around the St. Louis area in 1992, and gave the band some local notoriety. Over the course of time, THE WANTED EMCEES have refined their art, changing with the times, performing in the Hip-Hop Underground scene in and around St. Louis. There were setbacks, challenges, and triumphs through this time period, but THE WANTED EMCEES stayed true to the game, and never gave up. THE WANTED EMCEES signed with Chained Duck Records in 2002, and produced an album with 12 songs. THE WANTED EMCEES have made a mark in the history pages of Hip Hop/Rap. MITCH FREEZE, C.D., and DJ KMT are the members of THE WANTED EMCEES, and can be defined as the BEST ORIGINAL HIP HOP TRIO with the deepest of old school roots. In an era where mainstream media has catered to pop idols, reality T.V. shows and an industrialized depiction of everyday life, Tommy Mills & The Jade Amenity has been one of those bands on the sub level. Merging brutally honest lyrical content, Fuzzed out guitar sounds of “Yesteryear” Catchy yet non-pretentious melodies and harmonies in a somewhat familiar but completely original package.
The Jade Amenity was formed by Tommy Mills (No Sighlence, Sky Saxon & The Seeds) in late 2001, having been a veteran in the indie underbelly since the mid 1990’s .
The independently released latest album “Pigs in Suits” which was Produced by Tommy and Co produced and mastered by Jerry Jennings (Ronnie Montrose) Shows shades of old school punk in songs like “Not To Cry” while others like “Bean” showcase the more sensitive side of Tommy.
The sound has been compared to Nirvana,, Sonic youth, Jeff Buckley, Smashing pumpkins, The Ramones, The Sleepers and many others… but most all agree that Tommy Mills & The Jade Amenity really only sounds like “Tommy Mills & The Jade Amenity”.
Artwork for the album “Pigs in Suits” was created by famed indie photographer and sculptor Edward Colver (Black Flag,The Melvins,The Dead Kennedies, The Seeds, The Pixies ect…)The current live line up of the band features Tommy Mills, Richie Ramone (Former Drummer of The Ramones) and Bassist Ben Bennett (formerly of Warbringer and Smog)

The Escobar | England
Formed in late 2008, The Escobars have been gigging tirelessly across the country since, winning plenty of friends and admiration along the way. Since then, they have gone on to play support slots with Twisted Wheel, Joe Carnall & The Book Club, The Arkanes and London Blackmarket to name a few. In January 2010 they were featured in the New & Unsigned section of the NME and have since received commendable reviews in The Ark, Daily Express and Music-News Camden. As well as numerous Radio sessions including a live BBC Introducing session for BBC Radio Lancashire.2011 was quiet year for the boys as they went into hibernation to start work on a complete new batch of material. A line-up shuffle and Keyboard player was introduced to compliment their new direction. They returned briefly to play a charity event in Maryport, the went on to play the main stage at Cock Rock 20011.
What does 2012 hold? Well, after a 15 months absence from their home city, the lads returned late January to play to a packed out Mad Ferret audience. Their new 4 track EP is very close to being completed, and a tour across the land to promote it is being planned this spring.

forge his skills in the furnace of underground late night parties and
illegal raves that often frequent this part of the country going on to
play at Detox and the Wickerman festival

year obsession for collecting eclectic forms of musical diversity and
